　　I’m writing to tell about the discussion we’ve had in the recent class meeting about whether Senior 3 students should take a lot of tonics to keep fit/healthy.

　　Opinions are divided on the topic. Sixty percent of the students think it unnecessary for Senior 3 students to take any tonics, because tonics will cause them to put on more weight, which does harm to their health. Besides, parents will bring stress/pressure to Senior 3 students if they pay too much attention to their children’s health by buying tonics. What’s more, the price of tonics is rather high.

　　However, forty percent of the students hold the opinion that it is easy for Senior 3 students to fall tired by working hard with little exercise, so it is necessary to take tonics. More importantly, taking proper tonics can help to refresh themselves.
